The Army Corps of Engineers Division over the New Mexico area is very strict regarding construction compliance. The construction project manager stated that J & M Steel had the most effective and accurate submittals on this project out of all the subcontractors. J & M Steel furnished and installed the 38,300 sf MC130 Maintenance Hangar including support buildings. Construction consisted of a pre-engineered metal building provided by the Metallic Building Company, and metal sheathing with a standing seam metal roof.
