The Activa Plaza was furnished and erected by J & M Steel. The owner wanted an architecturally appealing and open building (including 50' x 50' bays without columns), to meet the company's needs and the city's requirements. Heavy design loads were necessary for the mezzanine to accommodate exercise equipment.
